Water Network & sewage Work
WATAN SAS have a good experience in Water Network & sewage Work , The main areas of work include :-
1- Carrying out planned maintenance on water and wastewater pipes.
2- Checking for faults.
3- Replacing cracked or damaged pipes.
4- Responding to customer call-outs and emergencies, such as burst mains pipes or sewerage blockages.
5- Installing new pumping equipment and water meters.
6- Usually working in small teams of two people, typical duties include:
7- Using computer-generated maps and plans to trace where underground pipes are located and which underground chambers they feed into.
8- Lifting manhole covers, providing central teams with a visual report and an initial diagnosis.
9- Using closed circuit television (CCTV) to check for blockages in pipes and drains.
10- Clearing blockages with steel rods and high-pressure jets.
11- Switching off or diverting water supplies while work is carried out.
12- Digging holes by hand or with mechanical digging equipment.
13- Laying and repairing water mains and pipes.
14- Filling in holes, repairing pavements and clearing rubble away once work is completed.
Also our experience in :-
1- Trunk sewers which carry sewage from the main pipes and pump stations to the sewage treatment plant.
2- Manholes which are placed at regular intervals along the main sewerage pipes and where there is a high risk of blockages. This could be at a point where the pipe changes direction, slope, size or level.
