Scope Of Work
-This project, initiated in 2014 and completed within its planned duration of 18 months, stands as a testament to Watan SAS’s commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. The scope of work encompassed the construction of the Mountain Road 3.3 at Bir Fairman, executed with precision and adherence to industry standards.
The project involved extensive earthwork, including excavation and backfilling performed to meet standard specifications. Backfilling was meticulously executed in 25 cm layers, each tested to achieve a 95% compaction rate, ensuring durability and stability. The work also included careful grading and leveling of the terrain to prepare the site for subsequent construction phases. Key highlights of the project include:
- Comprehensive Earthworks: Including excavation, backfilling, and compaction to achieve structural stability.
- Drainage Solutions: Addressing erosion risks and ensuring the road’s sustainability under adverse weather conditions.
- Sub-base Installation: Enhancing the road’s foundation to support future surfacing and long-term durability.
Rigorous quality control procedures were implemented throughout the project to ensure compliance with all safety and technical standards. This accomplishment highlights Watan SAS’s expertise in delivering projects that combine technical excellence with timely execution.
